Tomorrow is a big day for our baby Frida, and we can no longer delay her much-needed surgery any further as she is enduring significant pain.

We have both good news and areas of concern from her recent CT scan:

✅ Good News: Frida’s left scapula will heal without surgery, thanks to fractures that do not require surgical intervention. Additionally, her neck’s articular process fracture remains stable, without any spinal compression – meaning that the fracture around her neck hasn’t worsened or shifted in a way that could endanger her spinal cord or cause additional complications.

She was also able to lift herself up finally! The morphine started to take effect on her🎊

❗ Areas of Concern: The right scapula is severely damaged and will need surgical repair. It’s a complex surgery, but we are hopeful. Post-surgery, Frida may have a slight limp, but she will be much more comfortable.

Frida’s surgery will cost $570. Her hospital stay, which was nearly two weeks, is anticipated to cost around $600, potentially more depending on the tests needed during her stay.

Sadly, we are still $200 short of covering her CT scan costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A total of $1,370 is needed to cover Frida’s surgery, hospitalisation and CT scan.
