Volunteering keeps us going, we cannot do what we do without you!
At APC, our volunteers are our lifelines. As a 100% volunteer run organization, we depend on the dedication of those who work behind the scenes. Without our volunteers, our sanctuary could not care for the hundreds of animals we rescue off the streets every year. We are always in need of dedicated and passionate people who can support the sanctuary with various activities, from walking the dogs, to feeding, rescuing, trips to the vet and cleaning litter boxes!
Volunteering is a rewarding experience and our animals are the ones who reap the benefits of our volunteer community’s generosity.

We found Sasha when she was just a kitten—shy and quiet. She grew up at the shelter, and while she became a truly beautiful cat, something about her seemed to draw the wrong kind of attention from the others. Despite having a shelter full of social cats, Sasha was relentlessly bullied. We never understood why.
APC is more than just a shelter saving animals from the cruel and hostile conditions they live in on the streets of Lebanon. We offer them individual care, we try to keep them as happy as possible and focus on their wellbeing, as if they lived in a home.
