We can officially say that we are at war, though many of us are still in denial. Bombings continue to target the South, Bekaa, and Beirut. The death toll has exceeded 600, with 2,200 wounded and tens of thousands displaced. These numbers are rising by the minute.

Entire families are disappearing in an instant๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

The last two days have been the deadliest since the civil war.

People are leaving their homes with nowhere to go, and many had to leave their pets behind. We are doing our best to help. So far, we have rescued two terrified house cats found under the rubble in Dahyeh. Weโ€™ve named them Beau and Silver. Weโ€™re not sure if they lived together, but the fear in their eyes tells the story of what they experienced when the buildings collapsed during the airstrike.

We will be helping as much as we can, but please, donโ€™t leave your pets behind. They canโ€™t survive alone, just like us. They feel pain and fear too.

If youโ€™d like to help APCโ€™s animals with food during these difficult times, you can donate through the links in our bio on instagram. If youโ€™d like to help cover Beau and Silverโ€™s medical expenses or foster them, we would greatly appreciate it๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
