The Karantina area is home to approximately 500 dogs.

* What we did and what we are still doing:

  1. We are currently providing daily meals to 50 dogs in one of the districts of Karantina where we’ve cleaned up a large trash dump and planted more than 55 trees.
  2. These trees are watered weekly using a water truck, costing $30 each time.
  3. Our DAILY feeding routine includes 35 cans of wet food ($1.2 per 1g can) and 8 kilos of dry food ($38 per 12 kilos), which we mix to help the dogs adapt to the dry food.
  4. So far, we have rescued NINE dogs from this area, sadly, two did not survive.
  5. We are also managing ongoing medical care, including Frida, who is still hospitalized but showing positive signs.
  6. We have successfully spayed FOUR females.

Thank you @vetpointlb for your invaluable support and help.

  1. To combat fleas and ticks, we are giving the dogs Nexgard pills ($15 each). When they refuse these, we apply a spot-on treatment costing $10 each.
  2. We have 3 puppies battling parvovirus-a costly condition to treat.

These puppies are receiving on the street DAILY injections (2 each) of Flagyl, antibiotics, and anti-nausea medications, and we’re relieved to see some improvement in their activity levels.

9- We are addressing, in another district, an outbreak of scabies among 10 dogs, providing them with Negard pill ($15 the pill). Each dog needs 1 pill every 2 weeks

* Our sanctuary currently cares for 150 residents, with ongoing costs for food, litter, medication, surgeries, transportation, and shelter maintenance-expenses that rarely receive donations.

We also support about 25 stray cats daily, providing them with both dry ($43 per 15 kilos) and wet food ($0.8 the can), along with spot-on flea treatments ($7 each).

OUR RESOURCES ARE STRETCHED THIN *

We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer, as we are truly overwhelmed but determined not to stop.

Your help can make a significant difference in the lives of these animals who depend on us.
