After 44 long days at the hospital, Chilli has finally been released❤️

For those who have been following his journey, you know how much this little survivor has already endured because of the war. Sadly, the respiratory outbreak that has been affecting our shelter hit Chilli especially hard because his immunity was already so weak.

He developed severe pneumonia and a serious upper respiratory infection. There were days when we did not know what tomorrow would bring.

Today, Chilli is finally back at the shelter, but his recovery is far from over. He still requires daily nebulizer treatments, medication, and close monitoring.

If you think this outbreak is over, unfortunately it is not. We are still dealing with sick cats every day. Nebulizers are running constantly, and while we are grateful that only Alex remains hospitalized, the medical bills continue to grow.

Chilli’s hospitalization alone cost $1,000.

We are exhausted. We are overwhelmed. But we cannot give up on them.

Please, if you can help us pay Chilli’s bill and continue caring for the many cats still fighting this illness, we would be deeply grateful.

They have already survived war. They should not have to fight this battle alone too💔
