We have also taken Cookie—Lindt’s sister—to the hospital. She was tired, but not as much as Lindt. Cookie’s blood test results are much better than Lindt’s, but she has diarrhea and has vomited.

Vets do not believe it’s leptospirosis. However, the possibility of poisoning is still on the table, and we are continuing to monitor them closely.

Lindt is now more hydrated. Her creatinine level improved as soon as she became hydrated. She has eye discharge, but tested negative for distemper—confirmed by a PCR test, which is more accurate than a rapid test.

Lindt is still not eating on her own, and the vets are force-feeding her. Cookie, on the other hand, is eating a little by herself.

Please, if you can help us in any way—even just by sharing this post—we would be deeply grateful. Our debt is overwhelming, but we couldn’t turn our backs on these two puppies. Their stay in isolation at the hospital is very costly💔 and the vets are running tests every single day to track their progress.

Please help 🙏🏻
