Cartel’s MRI results are in, and now we finally kn $Cartel’s MRI results are in, and now we finally know why our little boy cannot walk. The MRI showed that Cartel has a serious fracture in his spine at T11. Part of the broken vertebra has moved from its normal position and is pressing on his spinal cord, which is most likely the reason he cannot use his back legs. The trauma also caused damage to the disc next to the fracture and inflammation around the injured area. But there is hope❤️ The MRI shows that despite the compression, the signal of Cartel’s spinal cord is still normal. The surgeon believes Cartel can be operated on and has given him a 40% chance of walking again. His surgery is TOMORROW and will cost $1,800. We have to give him that chance. Cartel is barely one year old. He is still a puppy. He survived being hit by a truck and lying helpless for four days before he was rescued. He has already fought so hard to stay alive. Now we need to fight for him. We are already struggling with so many vet bills, and $1,800 is an amount we simply cannot cover alone. Please help us get Cartel through his surgery tomorrow.
