Fredo is one of the stray cats we care for every single day at our feeding stations near APC. We’ve known him since the day he was born. He’s only about a year old, and he has grown up relying on us for food, safety, and love.

A few days ago, we noticed blood on his head and that he was limping. At first, we hoped it was just a minor injury or a bad landing that would heal on its own. We watched him closely for several days, but the limp only got worse. He stopped putting any weight on his leg.

We rushed him to the orthopedic surgeon for X-rays.
And the result is that his knee is so badly damaged that it can rotate nearly 180 degrees.

His ligaments have been completely torn, most likely from a fall from a significant height or a violent fight with another cat. The only way to save his leg is reconstructive surgery using artificial ligaments.

As if that wasn’t enough, the examination revealed another painful problem. Fredo suffers from severe dental disease, and all of his teeth need to be removed. He has likely been living with constant pain every time he tries to eat. He lost so much weight lately💔

This was completely unexpected, and the cost of treating both conditions is far beyond what we can afford. But leaving him like this is simply not an option. Every day he walks in pain. Every meal hurts.

Fredo deserves the chance to run, climb, and live without suffering.

We urgently need to raise $1,200. Unfortunately, this amount is far beyond what we can afford, and we can’t do it without your help💔

If we don’t raise enough funds, Fredo will only be able to have his dental surgery, while his injured leg remains untreated💔

Please stand with Fredo and give this stray cat the future he deserves🙏🏻
