We took him under our care from @rescuing.souls while the bombings were intensifying. Reaching Beirut was extremely difficult. Roads were dangerous, and even Beirut itself is under bombardment. But we could not leave him behind.
Halo arrived blind.
We believe the blindness is the result of a severe untreated infection. Both of his eyes are now filled with pus and causing him extreme pain.
Imagine living in complete darkness while explosions shake the ground around you every minute.
Halo cannot see what is happening. He only hears the blasts and feels the fear.
He is deeply traumatized.
Halo also tested positive for FIV💔 which means his immunity system is very weak💔.
The vets confirmed that he needs immediate eye surgery to stop the infection and relieve his pain. He will also need to be neutered.
We rescued him from the war, but his fight for survival is not over.
Lebanon is living through devastating days. Rescue organizations like ours are overwhelmed. Animals are arriving injured, abandoned, and terrified.
Your support will help cover his urgent surgery, hospitalization, and care.
In times of war, the most innocent suffer the most.
Halo deserves a chance to live without pain.
Please donate and help us save him.
