Leon and her siblings were victims of ear mutilation at the age of THREE WEEKS. Their ears were cut by humans so they could look like Scottish Fold cats. This is usually done when kittens were just born. IF they survive and the result looks “successful,” they are kept. If not, they are thrown back onto the streets.
We have seen many similar cases in Baabda. We reported this to the Ministry of Agriculture and filed an official complaint against unknown individuals, but sadly, we still have no answers.

Each kitten was mutilated in a different way. Leon’s case is severe. One ear is completely closed, and the other has only a very small opening. She is living partially deaf.
Now that Leon is older (8 months old), she needs surgery to open her ears so she can hear better and live without discomfort and infections.
Her surgery is scheduled for Thursday, and the cost is $350.
Please, we urgently need your help to give Leon a normal life🙏
