- Description:Oat is a two-year-old dog who was found wandering the streets completely blind after being deliberately shot with pellets. When rescuers from Mashala Shelter brought him to safety, X-rays revealed that his head and body were filled with pellets, including in his face, nose, and even his testicles, leaving him permanently blind and in immense pain. Frightened and disoriented, Oat is now trying to adapt to a world he can no longer see, startled by every sound around him. In addition to his injuries, he is battling serious tick-borne diseases and painful ear infections. Despite the cruelty he endured, Oat is now safe and receiving medical care, slowly recovering after surgery and treatment. His journey to healing is not over, and we urgently need donations to help cover his ongoing medical care and give him the safe, loving future he deserves.
