- Description:Winston is an 8-month-old kitten and a victim of Dahyeh. He was rescued with shrapnel in his eyes, barely able to open them, and his face covered in painful fungal infections. He is one of four cats rescued alongside Milo and Cindy. While his condition is not the worst, it could have led to blindness without quick treatment. Winston is now fighting severe conjunctivitis in both eyes, a fungal infection, and flu symptoms with heavy nasal congestion. He is receiving intensive eye drops to save his sight, treatment for his skin, and supportive care to help him breathe and recover. Next, he will need neutering, vaccinations, and full preventive care as he begins a long journey to healing. Winston was saved just in time, and he still needs support to fully recover.
