Alex is still at the hospital. It has been almost $Alex is still at the hospital. It has been almost TWO MONTHS since Alex was admitted… imagine spending two months fighting every single day just to eat, breathe, and survive. After more examinations and a visit to the surgeon, we discovered that Alex’s condition is neurological and his jaw is not fractured. His mouth is still severely damaged from infection and inflammation. It was decided to place a feeding tube so Alex can finally stop using his mouth while it heals. We are also changing his antibiotics and continuing treatment, hoping his body finally starts responding better. It has been a very long journey for Alex… and sadly, there is still a long road ahead. His hospitalization alone costs $30 every single night, excluding: • blood tests • medications • scans and examinations • feeding tube surgery • ongoing treatments and care We honestly do not know when Alex will finally be able to leave the hospital. Pikka is one of the many victims of the 2024 war.

Pikka is one of the many victims of the 2024 war. She came under our care after @animalslebanon reached out, asking if someone could take her in.

Her family had been displaced, and Pikka was completely lost and terrified. She was going crazy inside the crate from stress and fear. When she arrived at APC, she was exhausted. Her immunity had dropped, she stopped eating, and she developed a fever, which required several days of hospitalization.

Thankfully, Pikka recovered little by little. She blossomed at APC, gained weight, and slowly became herself again.

Then, something beautiful happened. A wonderful lady from France met Pikka, fell in love with her, and decided to adopt her.

Today, Pikka is living her best life in Paris: safe, loved, and completely pampered, just as she deserves.

‼️Jasper urgently needs another MRI‼️

This Tuesday at 7 PM, Jasper is scheduled for another MRI to finally see where we stand after his brain surgery.

The MRI will cost $460.

Please… this appointment CANNOT be canceled or postponed. Anything else can wait, but not this. Jasper is a very special case, and we really need to know what is happening inside his brain and whether there is any improvement after the surgery.

Since the operation, Jasper is still taking Gabapentin every day to help soothe his nerves. And honestly… he has definitely improved.

His senses have grown stronger. He is more aware of his surroundings. Even though Jasper is fully blind, he understands much more now. His crises became very rare compared to before. Sometimes he still has episodes where he screams or hurts himself, but they happen much less now. We sometimes feel it happens like a little baby becoming frustrated because he cannot express what he wants.

Because of his condition, Jasper cannot live in the shelter environment. He needs calmness, stability, and quiet surroundings. He gets along with other cats, but only calm ones. Sadly, because of how special his case is, we know fostering or adoption may be very difficult unless a miracle happens.

But Jasper is such a sweet young cat, and we are trying our absolute best to give him something close to a normal life, whatever “normal” means for him.

This MRI is extremely important. We are hoping to finally see if the pressure in his brain is improving and if his brain is slowly growing and adapting with time.

Please help us give Jasper this chance 🙏

We had never seen Chico before. Someone left him

We had never seen Chico before.

Someone left him at our door and disappeared.

He is only around one month old; so tiny he fits in the palm of a hand. But instead of exploring the world like a kitten his age should, Chico arrived exhausted, dehydrated, covered in diarrhea, and too weak to even move.

His little body had almost given up.

We rushed him straight to the hospital. Every minute felt critical.

Thankfully, Chico tested negative for parvo 🙏🏻
But being negative did not mean he was safe.

He still needed hospitalization, fluids, medication, monitoring, and days of care to stabilize him and help him start eating and moving again.

Chico is now at the hospital.
Look at his eyes. He is only a baby💔

We do not know who abandoned him.
We only know that when he showed up at our door, he became our responsibility.

His medical expenses and hospitalization bill are still pending and we urgently need help to cover his care.

With intensive eye treatments and proper care, there is still hope that Fiona may regain her vision🥺

She is dehydrated, terrified, and extremely skinny. So tiny to already be blind… Hopefully, with treatment, she will be able to see again🙏🏻

Fiona’s hospital bill is $250 for her hospitalization, treatments, and medical care. So far, only $100 has been received for her care.
