She lost her babies. She almost lost her life. And She lost her babies. She almost lost her life. And then she found her forever 🤍

Kaïa was abandoned in Karantina, Beirut, where she gave birth to two puppies. Tragically, both of her babies were poisoned.

After that, we were terrified she would be next.

Getting Kaïa to safety wasn’t easy. She was scared and catching her took time, patience and a lot of determination. But eventually, we did.

And then everything changed.

Kaïa found the most amazing family. A family that doesn’t just give her a home; they give her a life.

They take her everywhere. She swims, explores, travels, goes on adventures and gets to experience all the things she never knew existed.

From being abandoned on the streets to being someone’s whole world.

Whenever. Wherever. Together❤️

This is what rescue can do.

This is Kaïa’s second chance thanks to @patounes_sans_frontieres
Tilda had her surgery, and it was successful. Ha Tilda had her surgery, and it was successful.

Habibi, she is in so much pain and she is not young anymore, but this surgery was absolutely necessary.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to Tilda.
Thank you for caring about this senior baby and giving her this chance❤️

We still need $100 to have everything fully covered, including her biopsy, which will be sent to Cyprus to determine whether the mass is benign or aggressive and, if aggressive, how aggressive it is.

We’re almost there for Tilda🙏🏻

We have 72 hours to raise the funds for Tilda’s su We have 72 hours to raise the funds for Tilda’s surgery.

When we rescued Tilda almost two years ago, we were told she might only have six months left. Yet here she is today — still fighting, still enjoying life, and still trusting everyone she meets despite everything she has been through.

Tilda is a senior Labrador, around 10 years old. Before coming to us, she had clearly been neglected for years and was eventually dumped in Karantina; a terrible place for a house dog to suddenly find herself alone.

When we finally got to her, her condition said everything. Her teeth were rotten, her body showed years of neglect, and then discovered that Tilda had an aggressive form of cancer.

Her tumors were removed, but we knew there was a high risk the cancer could return. Since then, we have made sure she gets a full checkup every six months, because catching anything early is extremely important for her.

And unfortunately, at her latest checkup, we found a new growth on her nipple.

It is growing quickly, and her vet does not want us to wait. Tilda needs surgery. But without the funds, we simply cannot go ahead with it.

Tilda is also living in a paid foster home, where she finally has the safe and peaceful life she deserves. Her foster costs us $300 every month, including her special food.

For almost two years, we have done everything possible to keep her comfortable, safe and loved. We don’t want money to be the reason we have to delay the surgery she now needs.

We are trying to raise $900 to cover her urgent surgery.

Tilda survived neglect. She survived being abandoned on the streets. She survived Karantina. And she has already fought cancer once.

Now we only have 72 hours. If you can donate, even a small amount will help us get closer to her surgery.

And if you cannot donate, please share Tilda’s story❤️

We don’t usually make posts like this. We always We don’t usually make posts like this.

We always try to find a way. We cover what we can, we stretch what we have, and very often we pay for things without ever posting about them.

But today, we really need help.

As of today, our outstanding bill at just ONE of the hospitals we work with is $6,052. And the bills are still ongoing.

There is so much you never see on this page.

The vet checkups. Blood tests. Teeth extractions. Surgeries. Medication. Physiotherapy. Foster care. Emergency visits.

The cats and kittens we quietly take in, treat and save before we even have time to tell their stories.

The dogs we continue caring for long after their original rescue post is forgotten.

And food. So much food. We have never really fundraised for the enormous amount of food we provide because, whenever we have tried, almost nothing was donated.

Recently, we posted about three of our Karantina dogs who needed veterinary care. We received no donations for them. But of course, their treatment still had to continue.

We have special-needs animals like Cartel, Tina and Tilda who need ongoing care and physiotherapy. We have animals in foster homes whose expenses continue every single month. We have countless cases that never even make it to social media.

We have always tried to make it work ourselves. APC is run by only a few people, and we have been covering and balancing expenses however we can, including from our own work outside APC.

But this time, it has become more than we can handle.

So for the first time, we are asking this openly:

Please help us.

Our immediate goal is to raise $6,052 to close the outstanding bill at ONE hospital.

$5, $10, $20, $50 — please don’t think your donation is too small. If enough people help, we can get there.

And if you cannot donate, please share this post. It may reach someone who can.

We don’t want to stop taking cases because we cannot pay another bill.

We urgently need you this time🤍

Please keep donating to Tina and supporting her journey❤️‍🩹

Thank you @makramyounis for coming all the way to see our paralysed cats and bringing to Tina her new boxing toy♥️

‼️ PLEASE DON’T TELL US TO EUTHANIZE HIM ‼️ UPDAT ‼️ PLEASE DON’T TELL US TO EUTHANIZE HIM ‼️

UPDATE: Alex was diagnosed with FIP😭😭

Alex is back at the hospital, and he has already been there for a week.

His condition is very severe, but despite everything… he still wants to live🥺
He loves to eat. He loves kisses. He loves his belly rubs. ❤️

We are not giving up on Alex. But his care is becoming extremely expensive, and we desperately need your help to keep going.

Since his rescue, Alex has spent more time at the hospital than at the shelter, and being FIV-positive makes his recovery even more challenging.

Please help us fund Alex’s care and give him the treatment, comfort, and love he deserves.

Tina had her amputation💔 By removing her stiff, n Tina had her amputation💔

By removing her stiff, non-functional leg, she will finally be able to stand properly and put her weight on her other leg.

Tina is still just a kitten, and yet she has already endured four surgeries.

All because someone chose to throw her among stray dogs, leaving her helpless and vulnerable to an attack. Shame on those who did this to her.

Now, we need to help Tina move forward🙏🏻

We still need $200 to cover the remaining cost of her amputation and $420 to renew her physiotherapy sessions.

Please help us if you can.

Donations have been extremely low lately, and we are struggling to keep up with the medical bills of the animals under our care😞

Alex is unfortunately 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥. He suddenly started bleeding from his mouth and became very pale, so we immediately rushed him in.
Thankfully, his hematocrit is relatively stable, but his blood tests showed a significant infection. Being FIV-positive makes managing infections and his overall condition more challenging.

Alex is now hospitalized on IV treatment and has also received vitamin B12 to support healthy blood-cell production and his recovery.

Unfortunately, Tina will need to have her leg 𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝. We tried everything possible to save it, but neurologically, the nerves are no longer functioning. The leg has become extremely stiff and is preventing her from properly using her other leg and walking. Sadly, amputation is now the only option that costs $300.

Cloud - war victim - urgently needs surgery on both eyes ($550). His eyelids are turning inward, causing constant irritation and pain. He is barely able to see, and the surgery cannot wait. We urgently need your help to prepare for his operation next week.

Patchouli has left the hospital and is now staying at APC. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find her a foster home in Lebanon, but we are so happy to announce that she has been adopted abroad! 🥹❤️

Until she can travel, she still needs a foster home in Lebanon for around 3 months. If you can give Patchouli a temporary home, please reach out to us.

Alex’s journey has been long and his medical care is continuous. We really need your help to keep providing Alex with the treatment and hospitalization he needs.

Cloud and Tina also need your support for their surgeries. Every donation and share helps.
