Alex is still at the hospital… and we urgently need your help.
The first time we saw Alex, he was barely alive.
Emaciated.
Severely dehydrated.
Unable to close his mouth.
Unable to eat properly because of the huge painful ulcers covering his tongue and mouth.
Since then, Alex has been hospitalized fighting for his life.
The good news is that there is some improvement.
Alex is grooming himself again.
He is eating better than before and even managing to eat a little dry food.
He looks more comfortable and more present.
And honestly… he is one of the sweetest cats ever.
But today his fever became high again and the vets had to stabilize him.
We still cannot sedate him to properly check his jaw because his condition remains too fragile, but there is still strong suspicion of a broken jaw.
Alex’s hospitalization bill keeps increasing day after day, and we are truly overwhelmed.
Right now we have:
• 2 cats on FIP treatment
• 3 cats currently hospitalized with Alex
• Oat’s TVT surgery: $600
• Kina’s amputation fixation surgery: $525
* Lucky amputation: $625
• Kina’s hospitalization: $1,400
We are exhausted financially and emotionally, especially with the pandemic spreading among the cats because of the war.
Please… we really need help for Alex and the others.
