We saw a post on @mashalashelter about another war victim from the 160 missiles that struck Lebanon. Houssein didn’t think twice before removing him from the street… and we didn’t think twice before taking him under our care. Today, he arrived to us. We named him Hero. Hero has a severe shoulder injury, infected burns
Kina is currently in critical condition. She suffered a severe chest trauma when she was thrown by the explosion, causing air to accumulate around her lungs. Her lungs were impacted, but there is still hope for recovery. Part of her shoulder will need to be removed, and the initial amputation must be corrected. She is

Yesterday, more than 160 bombs hit Lebanon. A building collapsed. She was underneath. Crushed. Bleeding. Alone. Against all odds, she survived. Thanks to @mashalashelter , she was rushed into emergency surgery under extremely difficult conditions. She made it through the night. Today, she is with us. Her body is weak. Her temperature is dangerously low
Jinnie needs surgery tomorrow… and we still haven’t raised the funds. We urgently need $550 to save her eye. Yesterday, Jinnie had a CT scan. The results showed that her eye must be reopened and surgically cleaned from the inside to stop the infection from building up again. The surgeon needs to remove everything inside
