Silk finally had his surgery to repair the fracture in his jaw and it was successful.
He was severely injured after an explosion in Dahyeh. The burns inside his mouth, the heavy blood loss, and the anemia made everything more critical. His hematocrit levels were low, and he had stopped eating, which made the surgery urgent.
Despite his fragile condition, Silk made it through.
His blood levels are still low, but Silk can finally begin to heal and slowly return to eating. For now, he will stay on wet food until he is strong enough for dry food again.
