She is barely 2 years old, and when she was found

She is barely 2 years old, and when she was found alone on the street, her face was so severely damaged that she could no longer eat or properly open her eyes.

We rushed her to the hospital.

Her condition is critical. Her blood pressure is unstable, she has tested positive for FIP.

Was she hit by a car? Did she suffer a terrible trauma? Is there a tumor?

For now, she remains hospitalized, receiving the care and support she needs to keep fighting.

She is so young. And whatever happened to her, we cannot accept that her story should end alone and suffering on the street.

We don’t know yet what treatment she will need or how difficult the road ahead will be. But we want to be able to say yes to every test, every treatment and every chance the doctors can give her.

She was left behind when war came to Lebanon.
But her story didn’t end there❤️

Iris was found abandoned in Dahieh during the 2024 war. She was so gentle, trusting and comfortable around people that we knew she must have once had a home.

We may never know how she ended up alone.

We took her in. And then, someone chose her❤️

With the incredible help of @patounes_sans_frontieres , Iris found the most wonderful home in France.
Thank you for helping us give her the ending she deserved.

Today, Iris is safe. Loved. Home.

And on International Cat Day, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with an adoption story.

Because somewhere in a shelter tonight, another Iris is still waiting for someone to choose her.

ALEX HAS BEEN HOSPITALIZED AGAIN💔

We really wish we had better news.

Alex had to be admitted to the hospital again after his latest blood test showed extremely concerning results.

His hematocrit has dropped to only 11.3%. He is severely anemic, and at this level he may need a blood transfusion.

His white blood cells are also very high, showing that his body is fighting an inflammation or another underlying problem that we still haven’t been able to identify.

After everything Alex has already been through—the problems with his mouth, the feeding tube, the surgeries, the infections, the skin irritation, different antibiotics and endless veterinary visits we are now facing another battle.

We are starting a new treatment protocol, including a new treatment for his skin, while his doctors investigate what is causing this severe anemia and the ongoing inflammation in his body.

We don’t have all the answers yet.

And that is perhaps the hardest part.

We are not giving up on Alex. We will keep searching, testing and trying everything we can to understand what is happening to him and make him feel better.

But financially, we are stretched thin.

Alex’s care has already cost us so much, and now we are facing another hospitalization, more tests, new treatments and potentially a blood transfusion.

Please, we desperately need your help.

Tina is finally out of the hospital and back at AP

Tina is finally out of the hospital and back at APC.

She has already started her first physiotherapy session. She’s such a little fighter.

To give her the best chance of walking again, she urgently needs physiotherapy twice a week. Her legs are still very stiff, and regular rehabilitation is essential to keep her joints flexible and help her recover.

We need to purchase a 10-session physiotherapy package for $420, and we can’t do it without your help.

The good news? She’s very sweet, and expressing her bladder is surprisingly easy.

Today, we lost Jessica.

We are devastated.

No matter how many animals we rescue, no matter how many years we have been doing this… it never gets easier when we lose one of our babies.

Jessica fought until the very end.

We still don’t know what caused her sudden collapse. Our priority was to stabilize her first before putting her through more tests. She was simply too fragile. We didn’t want to move her or put her through additional stress while she was fighting for her life.

Despite everyone’s efforts, her little body couldn’t hold on.

The hardest part is that her kittens are still at the shelter… waiting for their mom, not knowing she will never come back💔
